What Is Project Swamp?

We got tired of donating money and watching 90% of it disappear. If you want real impact, you can’t write a check and hope for the best you have to show up. Project Swamp was born out of frustration with broken systems and government agencies that stopped doing their jobs. So the community stepped in. We hit the Hillsborough River, the marshlands, the waterways trash bags in hand and we handle it ourselves. Then we eat together and celebrate. We do this because being compliant with a broken system is wack.

What We Do.

  • We Show Up

    While everyone else donates and hopes for the best, we’re in the water. Hillsborough River cleanup starts with boots on the ground.

  • We Haul It Out

    Bags, debris, whatever Florida’s waterways don’t need we load it up and get it gone. Aswell as Cordinate Larger scale pickups for the city officials.

  • We Celebrate

    When the work is done we eat. Community built this, Community enjoys it. That's The Swamp Way.
